PALGARD® AR Polycarbonate

PALGARD® AR is a clear abrasion-resistant polycarbonate sheet manufactured by Palram Industries Ltd. It combines a tough polycarbonate resin base with an advanced hard-coated surface for improved scratch resistance, chemical resistance, impact protection and long-term outdoor performance.

PALGARD® AR offers the strength and clarity of solid polycarbonate, while the hard coating improves surface durability in high-wear applications such as architectural glazing, public-space panels, manufacturing environments, highway sound barriers, machine guards and protective glazing. For glazing installations, Palram recommends compatible framing materials and gaskets such as neoprene or EPDM, and advises against using incompatible materials such as soft PVC in direct contact with the sheet.

PALGARD® has a 7-year limited warranty covering breakage, coating failure, excessive haze, excessive yellowing and loss of light transmission resulting from manufacturing defects, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty conditions. The warranty applies to flat vertical architectural glazing and excludes certain transport, recreational and off-road vehicle applications.
