Exolon® AR2 Polycarbonate Sheet

Exolon® AR is manufactured by Exolon Group, a European specialist in extruded polycarbonate and polyester sheet materials. Exolon Group continues the heritage of the former Bayer / Covestro polycarbonate sheet business and manufactures high-performance sheet products for construction, industry, transport, glazing, safety and visual communication applications.

Exolon® AR is made from Makrolon® polycarbonate raw material, with a specialist hard-coated surface for abrasion resistance and weathering performance. Exolon® AR 8099 is hard-coated on both sides, while Exolon® AR 7099 is hard-coated on one side for lamination or printing on the uncoated side.

Exolon® AR is a clear abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant polycarbonate sheet that combines glass-like surface hardness with the high impact strength of polycarbonate. It is suitable for architectural glazing, machine guards, transparent sound barriers, public infrastructure and secure facility glazing.
