Polymeric-Compatible Anti-Graffiti Film is a premium clear sacrificial protection film specifically engineered for installation on compatible acrylic and polycarbonate glazing. Unlike conventional window films designed primarily for glass, this film incorporates a specialised adhesive system developed for rigid plastic substrates such as Perspex®, PLEXIGLAS®, Makrolon® and LEXAN™.

The film protects the original glazing surface against graffiti, spray paint, marker damage, scratching, abrasion and everyday wear while helping reduce the likelihood of bubbling, blistering and adhesion failure that can occur when unsuitable glass films are applied to polymeric materials.

Designed for smooth, flat, non-hard-coated acrylic and polycarbonate sheets, the film provides a removable sacrificial layer that protects the underlying panel. Once the film becomes damaged or heavily marked, it can simply be removed and replaced, extending the service life of the original glazing.

Why Standard Glass Films Can Fail on Plastic Glazing

Acrylic and polycarbonate behave differently from glass. These polymeric materials absorb small amounts of moisture and naturally expand or contract as environmental temperature and humidity change.

When a conventional glass window film with an unsuitable adhesive is installed on plastic glazing, moisture vapour or gases released from the substrate can become trapped beneath the film. This may contribute to:
