PERSPEX® VA/VE is a premium cast acrylic sheet range developed for specialist UV-absorbing glazing applications. It is designed to help protect sensitive materials, artworks, photographs, museum exhibits, display items and valuable objects from harmful ultraviolet light exposure.
PERSPEX® VA provides high optical clarity with integral UV protection, making it suitable for picture framing, artwork glazing, specialist display cases and high-UV environments. PERSPEX® VE provides even stronger UV blocking performance and is commonly used where minimum UV transmission is required, such as museum display cases and protective glazing for delicate artefacts.

PERSPEX® VA/VE is a specialist range of genuine cast acrylic sheets developed for applications where protection from ultraviolet (UV) light is essential. These premium acrylic sheets combine the outstanding clarity, durability and fabrication advantages of PERSPEX® cast acrylic with advanced UV-absorbing technology, making them ideal for museums, galleries, conservation projects and specialist glazing applications.
PERSPEX® VA is a colourless UV-absorbing acrylic sheet that provides excellent optical clarity while reducing harmful UV transmission. It is well suited to picture framing, artwork protection, display cases and glazing applications where clear visibility and UV protection are equally important.
PERSPEX® VE is designed for applications requiring the highest possible UV protection. It blocks almost all UV radiation below 400 nm, helping protect delicate artefacts, museum exhibits, historical documents and other UV-sensitive materials. Due to the UV-absorbing additives, VE grades may exhibit a slight yellow tint while providing maximum preservation performance.
Both grades retain the key advantages of genuine PERSPEX® cast acrylic, including excellent optical quality, lightweight handling, easy fabrication and long-term durability.
